StreamMask (Hide Personal Info While Streaming) is a Chrome extension. Its only purpose is to keep the personal information of people who stream or share their screen from appearing on web pages and in browser suggestions.
StreamMask does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data. The extension has no server, requires no account and uses no analytics or advertising libraries.
The extension uses content-script access on all sites so masking works everywhere, storage for settings and the temporary backup, and the history and privacy permissions for Stream Mode. These permissions are used only for the purposes described above.
No data is shared with any third party.
Data controller: the StreamMask developer (GitHub: KursadEren). Contact: github.com/KursadEren/streammask/issues
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we state that StreamMask does not collect, process, store or transfer personal data. All processing happens locally on your device and nothing is transferred domestically or internationally. Because no personal data is recorded, there are no records on which the rights under GDPR Articles 15–22 or KVKK Article 11 (access, rectification, erasure, objection, etc.) could be exercised; you may nevertheless contact the data controller through the link above and requests are answered within 30 days.
When you uninstall the extension, Chrome removes all local settings and temporary backups from your device.
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page.
